The Beginning

After getting my hands wet with Python during my final months at university I soon discovered my passion for programming. I continued to code during the first Lockdown in the summer of 2020, and I prompty set the intention of mastering JavaScript and one day becoming a Full-Stack developer.

Thereafter I enrolled onto the University of Manchester's Full-Stack Bootcamp, a 24-week intensive programme focused on gaining technical programming skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Firebase, NodeJS, MySQL, MongoDB, Express, Handelbars.js & ReactJS.

Here I have gained a solid understanding and best practices of programming, with a focus on test-driven development, remote pair and group programming over Zoom and Slack, and collaborative version control with Github. I have acquired experience with backend technologies, building APIs and servers with Express and MySql, whilst also covering the front-end with React and CSS.
